Performance Management for Professionals and Amateurs
Our specialty focuses on the science of mental performance to facilitate
the breaking of redundant patterns and extending peak performance.
Every athlete has a performance cycle.
Peak

This transitional flow is unavoidable,
but it is controllable.
Peak
Early recognition of a decline in performance is critical.
If you can't recognize it, you can't change it.

If you can't control subpar performance, you reinforce it, ultimately to the point where your talent is marginalized.

Our Strategy
Professionals Serving Professionals
O Knowledge is the primary operator in your achievement of success, period.
Whether it's the knowledge leading to a proper physical workout, or knowledge leading to personal mental performance, or knowledge leading to team esprit de corps win. Knowledge not only defines your game performance, but also your personal financial security and the organization's financial security.

Our training will enhance your knowledge of self-performance efficacy like nothing else you have encountered. Your efficacy, that is, the capacity to produce a positive effect, will dramatically improve.

This training involves multi-tasking and multi-thinking. It is participatory and intense.
Knowledge --the nuts and bolts
Goal: Sustainable Peak Performance
O We are all creatures of redundancy -- doing the same thing again and again.

George Bernard Shaw said, "doing the same thing over and over and over again, and expecting different results is a form of insanity".

You will learn how redundancy patterns work, to remove the old patterns that are marginalizing your performance and replace them with new patterns. Will the new patterns last forever? No! It is incumbent in the transitional flow processes (shown in above graphs) that a cycle constantly changes. Understanding these rhythms will enable directional changes to target a particular result. Your mental flow and physical flow will need to synchronize.

--Understanding the detail of how you function can greatly enhance your game. Detail # 1: you understand less than you think.
Integrating Knowledge, Mind, and Breath
Mind --the redundancy factor
--Does the game engage you, or do you engage the game?

Breath --breath memory
--It's always with you, but seldom used to its potential.
Rationality Trumps Irrationality
O We generally breathe just enough to survive, but the breath is so much more. Many talk about breathing during an activity --the coach can say, "you're holding your breath, breathe!" -- but typically neither coach nor player understand what "breathe" actually entails and how it can be used to develop a rhythm in your routine. And when performance slips a bit, the breath can be used to bring you right back into top play.

Everyone has heard of muscle memory; there is also a Breath Memory that is important for controlling performance patterns. Denise is an expert in breath facilitation and along with River, coined the term and founded the physiological principle of Breath Memory (also, with many applicaitons to the respiratory health industry).

Breathing patterns set up the most natural rhythmic pattern in the body that can be voluntarily controlled. It can thus be used to regulate physical patterns, e.g., approaching you stance, positioning body and mind, hitting the ball.

Breath technique is more than just breathing. It has been used for thousands of years to instill the primal behavior of warriors such that they are engaging the situation. Example, if the pitched ball is viewed as coming to you, then the ball is engaging you rather than you engaging the ball. Breath rhythm can help the bat meet the ball vs. the ball meeting the bat.
